Aloha and Welcome to my website.

It has been my honor and privilege to serve the people of Hawaii for the past several years in the Hawaii State Legislature and Honolulu City Council. I am humbly asking to serve you in Congress because we need a level head in Washington.

We don't need heated rhetoric. We don't need partisan squabbles. We need someone whose only focus is Hawaii and what is best for the people of Hawaii.

My focus is on the concerns of our community: small business men and women, who are the source of our economic health; on our public education system, which is critical to our future; and on our national defense, which is vital to our nation and to Hawaii.

I don't have a personal agenda. I don't have anyone or any group that I answer to. I have always been an independent voice for the people of Hawaii. I will be an independent voice in Washington.
